Where are Cory+Casey?

We recently moved in to our new house in the small town of Roanoke, Texas. We love it here because it's a perfect middle ground between Dallas and Fort Worth. We have a lot of locations scouted around our neck of the woods, but love to travel to find new locations. If we're a little too far for your liking, tell us where you are located and we can meet in the middle, or go all the way to you*.
*travel fees may apply

Hey guys, I'm getting married and then soon after I'm having a baby, do you take pictures of either of those things?

The short answer is no, but we can absolutely recommend some others who are great at it!

Will both of you be photographing during our session?

Not quite - you'll get one photographer, but two pairs of eyes. The cool thing about a husband and wife team is that we can split up what we focus on during a shoot. Cory holds down the technical side with his camera, making sure the composition, lighting, and settings are just right. As he is taking the photos, Casey is instantaneously viewing the images on an iPad to ensure all the poses and clothes and hairs and details are just right. It's the perfect way to make sure that we're making the highest quality photos possible.

What time of the day will you want to set up a photoshoot?

Ever heard of the "Golden Hour"? Google it. Basically, it means that we will be shooting when the sun is either coming up or going down - In the evenings and yes... early mornings. Our current time slots are either 8:00am or 6:30pm, and may vary slightly during Daylight Savings Time.

How far in advance do I need to schedule my shoot?

That depends - Different seasons are busier than others. The 'ol rule of "the early bird gets the worm" applies. Our schedule is first come first serve. HOWEVER, we do value making sure we have the maximum availablility for all potential clients. *If you need to cancel a scheduled photoshoot, we do ask that you give us at least a 72-hour notice so that we can offer your time to another client - otherwise cancellation fees will apply

When will I get my images?

We will get your images to you 10-14 days after our photoshoot. Once finished, you will receive a link in your email that will lead you to a gallery of all the images with an option to download to your computer. If a custom jump drive is requested, allow two or three for shipping after the images are edited and the link for viewing has sent.

How many images will I receive?

Typically when shooting for just over an 1 hour, you will receive 50-60 fully edited and high-resolution images. Images will be a range of color and B&W depending on what we think looks best for that particular shot and variation

Am I allowed to print my photos? Can I post them on Facebook?

Absolutely to both! When you receive your photos, a Release Agreement document will be included that gives you the right to print and post to your heart's content. HOWEVER, as the agreement states, we do not want you to re-edit, crop, sell, or advertise these photos in any way. We also ask that "Cory+Casey Photography" or @coryohale is tagged or mentioned in the caption when posting on social media.

Is there anything that I should bring to my photoshoot?

Other than yourself, you can bring anything that has any meaning to the session requested. Is there anything from the proposal that's worth including in the shoot? Is there a certain look/feel you want to portray with suitcases, sunglasses, or record players? Are there any outfits, shoes, toys, or blankets that are special to your kids? Some of our favorite shoots are one's which we get to set up scenes to help make the images so much more personal.

What if it rains or snows the day of our photoshoot?

One thing we've learned about Texas is that it's nearly impossibly to predict what the weather will do when there's even a small percent chance of precipitation. If Cory+Casey agree that the weather has ruined the chance to have an enjoyable photoshoot, we will quickly contact you to reschedule your shoot to the next available date.
